With back-to-back horrific incidents, the state of Tamil Nadu is reeling with distress over the growing caste fanatics among the students including minors.
On the day of event, May 22-23, 2018, the police were reported that based on orders issued by three deputy tasildars, which ended with the killing of 12 people on May 22 and another one on May 23.
The CBI said that it had investigated over 45 people and it was found that the father and son were booked under false grounds and it couldn't have happened without the knowledge of Sridhar.
The family moved the official complaint to Thoothukudi district collector Sandeep Nanduri. The collector had issued a directive to the district revenue officer to probe the matter.

Mahendran has died on June 13 - ten days before the death of Jayaraj and Bennicks, due to the police brutality he faced after taken into the illegal custody.
