Subramaniam's resignation has left the theater owners association in a state of uncertainty, as he was a key figure in the industry and had a strong rapport with the film fraternity.

The incident had happened on Wednesday in the Tiruppur district and after setting her on fire, the accused boyfriend got admitted to a hospital claiming that he was not feeling well. 

However, the remaining 11 children were being treated in hospitals and the other children had already passed away, doctors declared.
