Paneerselvam has appeared before the commission for the second straight day and during the inquiry, he had twisted his own tale by opening up a fresh confession. 

VK Sasikala, the expelled general secretary, is back in the limelight after the party's debacle in the recently-held urban local body polls.

It must be noted that VK Sasikala is not active in politics after getting released from the Karnataka prison last year. She neither campaigned nor endorsed any party in the local body polls. 

Karnataka's Anti-Corruption Bureau has filed a charge sheet against VK Sasikala and Illavarasi as it has begun another round of investigation into the special treatment awarded to the duo.

Though the meeting was held on Monday, it has come to light on Tuesday after Sasikala had issued an official statement in which she has tagged herself as the General Secretary of the ADMK. 

The visuals of hurling footwear on the vehicles of both the leaders on Sunday had been going viral on social media and it had happened when they were returning from the MGR memorial.

While VK Sasikala had assured her supporters that she will regain control, the ADMK had announced the elections to the leadership after the overhaul.

The current leaders had on Wednesday brought an overhaul to the party to retain their leadership amid a tussle between the senior leaders.

As Sasikala has played her turn, the party cadres are waiting for the play from EPS and OPS on their turn as the leadership crisis in the party deepens. 

EPS and OPS have astutely made the changes to the party's laws to retain their reign, though they still fight for winning the complete command behind the screen.
