On Wednesday, Tamil Nadu School Education Minister KA Sengottaiyan said that the government school students in the state will be learning their studies through television channels from July 13.
These incidents had created a furor and a challenge to the government in curbing the spread as well as monitoring the influx of people from other regions.
The volunteers held the awareness campaigns and they talked with the members of the households and explained to them about the measures and precautions to tackle the viral infection.
The news that the minister has tested positive for the virus has broken out moments after he took part in the meeting with Union Minister of Power Raj Kumar Singh that held in the Chief Secretariat on Wednesday.
The revelation has come as the sequel of the fever camps installed and conducted by the civic body across the city to check and carry out testings for the patients.
