Flu virus is a type of virus that causes influenza, a contagious respiratory illness that affects the nose, throat, and lungs.

Signifying the recent spike of covid cases, Vijayakanth said the Tamil Nadu government should take serious action to control the spread of corona and create awareness among the people about the prevention of coronavirus.

The development has come when the Union government has written to several states including Maharashtra over a rise in Covid cases. 

The Tamil Nadu Health Department has now brought back the mask mandate in the state and that the people who fail to wear masks would be fined.
