ISRO has on Tuesday said that the rover has successfully detected a slew of minerals including Oxygen on the surface of the Moon and is now into the endeavour of detecting Hydrogen.
Upon his arrival, he was welcomed by ISRO Chairman Somanath and addressing the scientists, the Prime Minister had congratulated them and made crucial announcements.
The Vikram lander has made a soft touchdown on the lunar surface on Wednesday - August 23 at 6.03 pm and the Praygan rover is out of the lander's belly to explore the unexplored region.
Through the successful landing, India is has now become the first nation to land on the south side of the Moon and has remarkably evolved the country's space agency to new heights.
On Thursday- August 17, India's space agency has officially announced that the lander of the mission has been separated from the module and it is all set to get descended to land on the unexplored south side of the Moon.
