Shaitaan is presented by Jio Studios, Ajay Devgn Films and Panorama Studios International, and produced by Devgn, Jyoti Deshpande, Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak.

This film marks the return of Jyotika to Malayalam cinema after a hiatus of 12 years, her last appearance being in 'Seetha Kalyanam' in 2009

The shooting of the film is expected to commence in November, after Vijay completes his work on Lokesh Kanagaraj’s ‘Leo’, which is slated to release on October 18.
