According to the Union Health Ministry, 1,65,714 frontline workers across India had received vaccines on Saturday.

The controversial privacy policy from WhatsApp had irked the Indian users and they have been staunchly flaying the messaging service of compromising the privacy standards.

While speaking about the vaccination drive, Health Minister Harsh Vardhan on Friday said that it is the last phase of our battle against coronavirus and stated the drive as the beginning of the end of COVID-19.

Thousands of healthcare workers including the top doctors in Tamil Nadu receive the vaccine on the first day. 

Earlier, Natarajan has expressed that it was a proud moment to wear the white jersey and said he is ready for the next set of challenges.

A senior leader of the protesting unions said, "We welcome the court's order to stay the implementation of the farm laws, but we want a complete repeal of these laws".

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday said that the Center will bear the expenses for the first-phase vaccination of around three crore health workers and frontline staff.
