On Wednesday, the Tamil Nadu Assembly has passed a resolution against the CAA amid the protests carried out by the BJP.

Adopting the resolution in the Tamil Nadu assembly, Chief Minister MK Stalin has said that the three farm laws are against the interests of the farmers' and would annihilate agriculture. 

Tamil Nadu has become the seventh state to oppose the farm laws and pass a resolution of pressing the Union government to repeal them.

In a statement, Stalin said that passing a resolution against the farm laws was one of the DMK's poll promises in the state assembly elections. 

The peasants from the other parts of the nation will block the national and state highways for three hours on Saturday as a mark of intensifying the protests to repeal the farm laws.

The farmers' unions, which are on the road for the past two months by braving the climate and various challenges, have said that the nationwide roadblock would be carried out across the nation apart from Delhi.

While tweeting India together, no cricketer had condemned Bollywood star and BJP supporter Kangana Ranaut for branding the protesting farmers' terrorists.

Reputed cricketers Sachin Tendulkar, Anil Kumble, Virat Kohli, and Rohit Sharma had lined up in support of the government on Wednesday by asserting that Indians know India and they should decide for India.

International pop singer Rihanna is the latest victim of identity politics after she extended her support to the protesting farmers in Delhi.

It must be noted that a few days ago, Kangana went on to brand the oppositions and Indians who are supporting the farmers as terrorists.
