The state has been witnessing the heat of political campaigns from the parties and the Election Commission has been preparing to conduct the crucial polls with the new modifications and mechanisms. 

Tamil Nadu is scheduled to hold assembly general elections at the end of April. The Election Commission is expected to make an official announcement on the election by the end of February. 

ADMK is hoping to hit the campaign trail and conduct the elections by December 2020 with having no surety on when the state would a COVID-19 free state. 

These three candidates, with the DMK's current strength in the assembly, would be having comfortable entry to the upper house of the Parliament.

With the current numbers of the MLAs in the assembly, the ADMK and DMK party can easily elect three MPs each without any election.

On Tuesday, the Election Commission of India has announced the schedule for the elections to 55 Rajya Sabha seats in 17 states that are due to get expired in April.

AAP has again restored its stronghold the nation's capital nearly eight months after the party has lost all the seven Lok Sabha constituencies of Delhi to the BJP in 2019 Lok Sabha elections.

Prashant Kishor has been the strongest critic against the CAA while the rest of JD(U) leaders and MPs backed the act.

The Congress party, which ruled Delhi for 15 years, hasn't opened its account this time and hadn't given a tough fight either.
