Condemning the conduct of the BJP leader, Senthil Balaji has also demanded payment of Rs 2 crores from Nirmal Kumar for causing damage to his reputation. 

While the police arrested Krishnamurthy on Monday, his wife Vimala is on the run and officials are on the lookout to arrest the DMK councillor. 

The statement was signed by the leaders of the allied parties and they alleged that the Governor has made a habit of stirring up controversy from the day he took office.
