The DMK has used the prospect of the Pongal occasion to display their dissents to the Governor through the state's traditional kolams or rangolis.

Krishnamurthy courted a fresh controversy when criticizing the Governor for the latter's conduct of violating the assembly's tradition when he skipped key parts in his speech that was prepared by the DMK government. 

His speech has been getting shared rampantly by the DMK members as it has become yet another direct attack from Stalin on the Governor in days time. 

As the DMK and its allied parties are coming down hard on the Governor for his contentious conduct in the assembly, a DMK leader has now courted a fresh controversy which stirred a row. 

The state was surfaced with the news that Masthan had died due to cardiac arrest until the police recently discovered and revealed that he was murdered.

It must be noted that in the late last month, he developed fever and fatigue following which he was admitted to a private hospital in Chennai.

The latest controversy from the Governor aligned to his recent remark of advocating that Tamil Nadu must be called 'Tamilagam'.

As his action stirred public outrage and protests, it also sparked a social media trend 'Get Out Ravi', urging the Governor to step down from the post.
