The farmer unions on Friday had warned that they will shut down all malls and petrol pumps in Haryana if the government fails to meet their demands of abrogating three farm laws in the next round of talks.

The Punjab Chief Minister will hold talks with Amit Shah to chalk out the efforts to reach an amicable resolution between the government and the farmers.
Speaking at a rally at Varanasi on Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the new agricultural laws have been brought in for benefit of the farmers.
