The results of who has won the new IPL teams will be declared on October 25, a day after the T20 World Cup battle between India and Pakistan. 

Kohli owned the tag of being the third captain to lead India in 200 international matches while Mohammed Azharuddin and MS Dhoni being the first and second respectively.

"I have given everything to the Team during my time as T20 Captain and I will continue to do so for the T20 Team as a batsman moving forward", Kohli said.

When he made up to the Indian squad after four years for the T20 World Cup, he has gone emotional and shared the quote that he penned in 2017. 

The current edition of the IPL will be resuming in the United Arab Emirates on September 19 and will run till October 15, two days ahead of the commencement of the T20 World Cup. 

Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar took to Twitter and wrote, "Shocked and deeply pained by the demise of Yashpal Sharma ji. Have fond memories of watching him bat during the 1983 World Cup."

"It is a huge Test Match and we are looking forward to it. We are not focused on the weather forecast. We have all our bases covered", Kohli said.

In a total of 60 matches, the Indian soil has hosted 29 matches so far and the rest 31 battles including the final would be fought in the UAE. 

Mumbai Indians took to Twitter and wrote, "UAE, we are coming back." Several teams had also expressed that they are prepared and ready for the rest of the battle in the UAE.
