Surprise Update: Lokesh Kanagaraj and Vijay drop the major hot update for the fans!

In a delightful turn of events, fans stormed with a surprise update on the highly anticipated film "Leo". Director Lokesh Kanagaraj, alongside Vijay himself, took to their social media platforms to unveil an unexpected announcement.

The first single titled 'Naa Ready' will grace our ears on June 22nd, marking the ocassion of the actor's birthday. To accompany this exciting revelation, the duo shared a captivating new poster featuring Vijay in a suave and stylish avatar. Sporting a sleek suit, donning sunglasses, and wielding a gun, Vijay exudes an irresistible aura of confidence and charm. 

Leo is the second collaboration of Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj after the blockbuster Master (2021). The film is touted to be an action thriller with an ensemble cast that includes Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Sarja, Priya Anand, Mysskin, Gautham Vasudev Menon and Mansoor Ali Khan. The film is also part of the Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU), which started with Kaithi (2019) and continued with Vikram (2022).

The film has music composed by Anirudh Ravichander, who has previously worked with Vijay in Kaththi (2014) and Master. The film’s title track ‘Leo’ was released on February and received a positive response from the audience. The song was sung by Anirudh and written by Vivek.

The film is produced by Seven Screen Studio and The Route and is scheduled to release on October 19, 2023. The film will also have an English dubbed theatrical release for the first time for both Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj.
