The reports close to the know said that Yuvan Shankar Raja will most likely join hands with Vijay next year and they also had suggested that he would be composing the music for Thalapathy 67 and if all go as per the speculations, Kollywood would see a big fusion of both the stars.
If Yuvan Shankar Raja joins hands with Vijay, it will be the first unification for the duo after two decades. Yes, it took twenty years for them to work together. Lastly, Yuvan Shankar Raja has composed the music for the movie 'Pudhiya Geethai' starred by Vijay, which hit the theatres in 2003. The surprise that he dropped on the micro-blogging site had relished the fans of both the icons and it's been spreading rampantly. Thalapathy Vijay, who had recently wrapped up shooting for his upcoming movie Beast, is now getting ready to join the next project that has been tentatively named 'Thalapathy 66', helmed by Tollywood director Vamsi Paidipally.
While Beast is bankrolled and directed by Sun Pictures and Nelson Dilipkumar respectively, Thalapathy 66 is produced by popular Telugu producer Dil Raju, under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations. Thalapathy 66 is planned to be released for Diwali 2022 and when he is yet to join the sets full-fledged, Vijay is surrounded with speculations about his next movie, Thalapathy 67. The meet between Vijay and Yuvan Shankar Raja had stirred speculations that Yuvan will score the music for Thalapathy 67.
Yuvan Shankar Raja, who has earned a huge fanbase for his score and background music, has lastly composed music for Simbu's blockbuster hit Maanaadu. The movie has become one of the successful pictures of 2021 and has given a remarkable comeback to Simbu. It must be noted that Yuvan awaits the release of Ajith starred Valimai, for which he composed the music, which will get released on Pongal 2022. Earlier in 2020, Yuvan has expressed that Vijay had inspired him and said he was always ready to work with him. He said he will work with Vijay in the future and it seems time has come now.
