Exactly a day after the high-level drama unfolded by actor Vijay and his father SA Chandrasekhar that captured what was closely like a conflict between the father and son over the latter's political stint, Vijay's mother Sobha has on Friday shockingly revealed that there is a conflict between the actor and his father Chandrasekhar. 
 
The development has come at a high time when Vijay was pulled into the heated speculations that he is launching a political party ahead of the state assembly polls. On Thursday, the actor had come to the spotlight from nowhere after the reports had highlighted what was called as the statement that the actor had moved his application to register the political party. 

The reports highlighting the actor's political entry has come days after he met some of the members of Vijay Makkal Iyakkam in Chennai. The reports that circulated said that the actor had converted Vijay Makkal Iyakkam into All India Thalapathy Vijay Makkal Iyakkam and he has moved his application to register it as the political party. When it had stirred strong debates across the state, Vijay's father SA Chandrasekar (SAC) had come into the picture. 

SAC revealed that he was the one who moved the application to launch the political party under the name of All India Thalapathy Vijay Makkal Iyakkam. SAC claimed that Vijay had no knowledge about the move to launch the political party. Chandrasekar went on to say that Vijay Makkal Iyakkam has been active since the 1990s and he had moved to convert it as the political party to recognize the members of the outfit. Chandrasekar stated that the political party doesn't belong to Vijay and he can't tell whether Vijay would be entering the politics and leading this political party.

The reports highlighted that the political party has been moved for the registration by mentioning Padmanabhan as the President of the political party, SA Chandrasekar as the General Secretary, and Shobha Chandrasekar (Vijay's mother) as the Treasurer. When the reports had headlined across the state, Vijay himself had come into the picture and issued a strong denial that he has no connection with his father's political party. 

Actor Vijay had strongly contradicted his father and issued a staunch statement against his father and the actor had asked his fans not to join in the political party started by his father. In his official statement, Vijay had assured that he has no connection with the political party and asked his fans neither to join nor to get involved in the political party. In a note of warning, Vijay had said that strict action will be taken against the people who are indulging in activities by using his face and the name of Vijay Makkal Iyakkam.

Amid such developments, Vijay's mother Sobha had put out the shocking fact that Vijay is not speaking with his father for a long time. According to reports, Sobha said that SAC had acquired her signature under the guise of starting an association. As for association, she had put her signature. However, when SAC had asked for her signature for the second time, she realized that it is for a political party following which she refused by stating that she won't sign for the activities that SAC is doing without the knowledge of Vijay. 

She stated that she had told SAC that she withdrew her first signature and she asserted that she was not part of the political party. She revealed that Vijay had told SAC multiple times not to speak about his politics public. However, SAC hasn't listened to Vijay's request due to which Vijay is not speaking with his father and she maintained that Vijay has to tell about his politics. Sobha's statement had strongly contradicted to what SAC had claimed hours before her statement. 

On Friday afternoon, SAC had addressed reporters in Chennai during which said that he had registered a political party to recognize the members of the outfit and he claimed that he had met his son Vijay many times in the recent past and said that he met his son and spoke with him many times during the COVID-19 lockdown. The reports say that both SAC and Sobha had different assertions with having Vijay as the center point of debate and the high-level drama unfolded by Vijay's family has been stirring debates across the state and among the fans who are expecting his political entry.
