The trailer of Jawan, the much-awaited Bollywood film starring Shah Rukh Khan and Nayanthara, has dropped on the internet and it has left everyone speechless. The film, directed by Atlee, is a high-octane action thriller showcasing the clash between SRK, a RAW agent, and Vijay Sethupathi, a ruthless gangster. Nayanthara plays SRK’s love interest and an agent caught in the crossfire.

The trailer has received rave reviews from fans and celebrities alike, but one person who is especially proud of Nayanthara is her husband Vignesh Shivan. The filmmaker took to his Instagram account to share a special message for his wife, who is making her Bollywood debut with this film.

“Such a good first film in Bollywood with the one and only Shah Rukh Khan. Proud of you Nayanthara. Excellent work from Atlee, Anirudh, Vijay Sethupathi and others,” he wrote. He also shared the trailer wishing the whole team of the actioner.

Jawan is slated to release on September 7, 2023. The film also features Vijay Sethupathi, Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra and Yogi Babu will be seen in supporting roles. Deepika Padukone will be seen in a cameo.The music of the film is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, who has collaborated with Atlee for the fourth time after Theri, Mersal and Bigil. The film is produced by Red Chillies Entertainment, and the film's cinematography is by GK Vishnu and the editing by Ruben.
