Both the one-night action drama 'Kaithi' and the recent blockbuster starring Kamal Hassan, Vikram, Lokesh Kanagaraj drew a lot of attention. After the success of their first collaboration, Master, fans are eager to hear any news regarding their next project together, Thalapathy 67, starring Vijay. The latest update has been garnered from the talks of the town, the lady superstar Nayanthara to play in his next venture.

As per reports, Raghava Lawrence will play the lead role in a film , which the story penned by Lokesh Kanagaraj, directed by Rathnakumar, and produced by Kamal Haasan's Raaj Kamal Films International, RKFI. The latest rumours claims that the actress will be play the female opposite along with Raghava Lawrence in the untitled project ,and Nayanthara reportedly has already been approached for the role.

According to the sources, the official announcement will take place after the Lady Superstar gave a nod. Lawrence is currently starring in Chandramukhi 2, directed by P Vasu, where the first part released in 2005, starred Rajinikanth and the lady superstar. Additionally, it was previously speculated that Lokesh was planning to cast Lawrence as the powerful antagonist in Kaithi 2. However, the makers have yet to make a official confirmation. 

Previously, Rathnakumar directed the groundbreaking film Aadai, which starred Amala Paul. The comedy-drama Gulu Gulu, starring Santhanam, was his last directorial. Nayanthara's first collaboration with Raghava Lawrence and Lokesh Kanagaraj promises to be a compelling one, if it all comes to places.

Meanwhile Lokesh's next with Vijay will be officially announced after Varisu's debut, and the Thalapathy 67 has music by Anirudh and is produced by Seven Screen Studios. Ensemble cast Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun, Mansoor Ali Khan, Mysskin and GVM has been reportedly roped. On other hand, Nayanthara lastly seen in Connect directed by Ashwin Saravanan which debuted yesterday. She will be seen in Jawan, directed by Atlee, and other untitled project with Trident Arts, produced by Zee Studios.
