Naai Sekar Returns: A big comeback from Vadivelu...Check out the new poster of Comedy King's next!

Behind these jocular names is one man, Vadivelu, a legendary comedian of Kollywood, who well-rocked the scenes with his unique comedic talents. Although it has been a while since he showed up in a memorable movie, the time has arrived for his remarkable comeback. 

Vagaipuyal Vadivelu is coming back to the big screens through the movie that was named after one of his iconic character names - Naai Sekar. As he returns, the movie has been titled 'Naai Sekar Returns' to celebrate his comeback. Helmed by Suraj, Vadivelu plays the main character in the movie which has generated a lot of agog and expectations. 

The movie's motion poster was unveiled last year and it has received a massive reception in a short span of time. Vadivelu celebrated his 62nd birthday on Monday - September 12 and to make the occasion memorable, the movie team of Naai Sekar Returns released a new poster and it was going rampant across social media. 

Known for his quippy dialogues, the man has ensured he has quite a following- with both the old and the young alike. Vadivelu is known for typecasting roles, where the 2006 film Thalai Nagaram, which was starred by Sundar C, has a dedicated fan base for the character Naai Sekar. Thalai Nagaram was helmed by Suraj and he is now directing Naai Sekar Returns. 

On Monday, Lyca Productions, which bankrolls the movie, took to Twitter and released the new poster. It wrote, "Wishing the Comedy Icon Vaigai Puyal Vadivelu a very Happy Birthday! Have a fabulous year ahead!." As Vadivelu makes a comeback through this movie after five years, his ardent fans are eagerly waiting to relish his phenomenal acting on the big screen. 

For the first time, Santhosh Narayanan has joined hands with Vadivelu as the former is composing the music for Naai Sekar Returns. The movie has roped in several actors including Redin Kingsley, Sivaangi Krishnakumar, Shivani Narayanan, Anandaraj, Munishkanth,  Lollu Sabha Maaran, Rao Ramesh, and RJ Vigneshkanth.
