'Mother's Lullaby': Varisu's third single is here...And it garners millions of views in short time!

With less than one month of release, the makers of Varisu have been anticipating the release by giving top-notch updates on the film. In the same vein, the makers unveiled the third single titled 'Soul of Varisu'. To the surprise, the song has made a stupendous record by reaching one million views within an hour of release. Directed by Vamshi Paidipally, the film's score has been composed by Thaman.

Taking to Twitter on Tuesday - December 20, Tollywood producer Dil Raju's banner Sri Venkateswara Creations, which is bankrolling the upcoming drama, released the song. Sharing the Telugu version of the song, the production house wrote, "There is no better melody than a MOTHER's lullaby #SoulOfVaarasudu is here for you!!"

The lyrics of the song were penned by Vivek, who also wrote the previous songs Ranjithame and Thee Thalapathy. The latest reports also claim that the makers will have the audio launch on 24th December this year. The two-minute song featured the voice of legendary singer KS Chithra, and pleasing visuals of mother and son bonding, which has made quite an impressive impact on listeners. 

The tamil version of the song has garnered millions of views on YouTube in a short time. The third single was released at 5 pm on Tuesday and by the time of writing this content, the song has earned 1.2 million views in two hours into its release. Announcing the massive reach, the production house wrote, "Soul of Varisu hits 1M+ real time views." 

The film has been slated to hit theatres on 12th January 2023.  Popular actress Jayasudha plays the mother of Vijay in the movie. While Rashmika Mandanna of Pushpa fame plays the female lead, Sarathkumar, Prakash Raj, Yogi Babu, Sangeetha Krish, Shaam, Srikanth, and Samyuktha Shanmughanathan make up the crucial supporting roles.

The technical crew of the film consists of KL Praveen as the editor and Karthick Palani as the cinematographer. This Vijay and Rashmika-starrer family drama will clash with Ajith's Thunivu at the box office as per reports.
