Lokesh Kanagaraj, a director with four features to his name, posted a photo of himself with Mysskin from the set of their upcoming film "Leo" along with a heartfelt thank you note. The duo is seen discussing sincerely in the picture, which has generated excitement among fans of both acclaimed filmmakers. He was grateful for the opportunity to work closely with Mysskin and described it as a wonderful experience. This film also marks Mysskin's remarkable reunion with Vijay after 21 years of film Thamizhan release.

Lokesh Kanagaraj took to twitter and  penned, "My Dear @DirectorMysskin sir, A million thanks won’t suffice to express how grateful and fortunate I feel to have had the opportunity to work with you in such close capacity. We had an absolute blast having you on sets Sir.I can never thank you enough but a million thanks ! #Leo". This tweet comes on the heels of an official statement from director Mysskin, who recently announced the completion of his shooting schedule for the film.

The veteran director expressed his appreciation and praised the efforts of the assistant directors and their love towards him. wrote, "My Lokesh Kanagaraj was working as a qualified director, with love, strictness and a common thought process, like a warrior on a battlefield," The upcoming Leo is said to be an high octane actioner and marks the first collaboration between Lokesh Kanagaraj and Mysskin.

Both directors are known for their unique styles of filmmaking and have a loyal fan base in the Tamil film industry. Mysskin lastly helmed Psycho and made a cameo appearance on GV Prakash starrer in Bachelor. Leo is bankrolled by Lalit Kumar and Jagadish Palaniswamy with Anirudh scoring the music, Manoj Paramahamsa handling the camera, Philomin Raj in charge of the edits, and stunt choreography handled by Anbariv.

The ensemble cast comprising Thalapathy Vijay, Trisha Krishnan, Sanjay Dutt, Action King Arjun, Priya Anand, Sandy, Mathew Thomas, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mysskin and Mansoor Ali Khan. The film scheduled to release on 19th October 2023. Vijay and the rest of the Leo cast and crew have been in Kashmir filming crucial scenes and Vijay has reportedly  taken a break from filming and visited Chennai.
