Current revelations in the surrogacy debate suggest that Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan are now in a safe position. According to most recent reports, there are no signs of a violation, and the couple has already submitted the next stage of official records.
As per their latest official submission, star couple Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan had a registered marriage six years ago, which means that they married within a year of falling in love. Talks about the children and even the delivery method erupted on social media after Vignesh Shivan announced the birth of twins last week.
The rumours that the couple had adopted their children through surrogacy have started discussions. The Tamil Nadu government has formed a three-member committee to enquire whether the couple where they have adhered to the surrogacy protocol while opting for a surrogate. According to reports, Nayanthara and Vignesh Sivan have provided some evidence to the committee in this case.
The couple has also reportedly provided the Tamil Nadu health department with an affidavit and a marriage certificate, claiming to have obtained a marriage licence six years prior. Additionally, they have stated that Nayanthara's relative from the UAE is the surrogate, who is currently residing in Dubai. Earlier, the state health department announced that the couple will be subjected to an investigation.
Ma Subramanian, the state health minister, has mentioned that the couple will need to provide an explanation. The hospital in Chennai where the twins were born has reportedly been identified by the health department. Hopefully, this will soon nullify those unconfirmed reports and tense discussions, and they will be in a safer spot.
On June 9 this year, the lovely couple exchanged vows as they got married in a lavish ceremony that was held at Mahabalipuram, Chennai. On the work front, Nayanthara was last seen on the silver screen in the recently released movie 'GodFather' starring Chiranjeevi and Salman Khan and helmed by Mohan Raja. She will be next seen in 'Jawan' opposite Shah Rukh Khan, directed by Atlee and with 'Gold' helmed by Alphonse Puthiren.
Vignesh Shivan is gearing up to direct Ajith Kumar in the untitled project 'AK 62', and they both will be featured in their wedding documentary 'Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairytale' which will be released by Netflix. Nayanthara fell in love with Vignesh Shivan during the filming of the movie 'Naanum Rowdy Dhaan' in 2015 and the couple has been dating for seven years. However, they have now revealed that they had a registered marriage in 2016.
