The much-awaited film Leo, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, is all set to hit the screens on 19th October this year. The film features Vijay as the titular character. But what makes this film even more exciting is the possibility of a cameo by none other than Kamal Haasan, the legendary actor.

Media reports suggest that Kamal Haasan has finished the voiceover for his role and also filmed some scenes in the same costume he wore in Vikram, a forthcoming film by Lokesh Kanagaraj. Vikram released in 2022 that features Kamal Haasan as Vikram / Karnan, the leader of the 1986 Pilot Black Ops Squad. Vikram is a government agent leader who is abducted and saved by a former cop, Amar.

It is speculated that Kamal Haasan will be playing a pivotal role in Leo, and that he will share screen space with Vijay in some crucial scenes. A recent video of Kamal in Vikram lookover even confirmed the brewing buzz. However, it is yet to be officially announced by the makers of Leo if Kamal Haasan will be appearing in the film.

The film also boasts of an impressive star cast, including Arjun, Priya Anand, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mysskin, Mansoor Ali Khan, Mathew Thomas, and Sandy in important roles. The music for the film is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, who has previously collaborated with Vijay in Kaththi and Master. The film is produced by Lalit Kumar and co-produced by Jagadish Palanisamy under the banner of Seven Screen Studio. The cinematography is done by Manoj Paramahamsa, the action choreography is by Anbariv, and the editing is by Philomin Raj.
