The makers of the upcoming Telugu film ‘Leo’, starring Vijay, have expressed their heartfelt condolences for the tragic death of the actor and composer’s daughter Meera. The 16-year-old girl was found hanging in her father’s room on Tuesday early morning and was rushed to the hospital, where she was confirmed dead.

Following the shocking incident, the makers of ‘Leo’ in courtesy, have decided to postpone the poster release of the film, which was scheduled for today September 19, to tomorrow as a mark of respect for Vijay Antony and his family.

The makers of ‘Leo’ shared their condolences to the composer. They wrote, "Deepest condolences to @vijayantony sir for the unbearable loss. Our prayers are with you & your family! We respect & believe it's appropriate to postpone today's #Leo poster reveal to tomorrow…"

The makers of ‘Leo’ had earlier shared two posters of the film on social media, one in Telugu and one in Kannada, which created a huge buzz among the fans. The film is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and produced by Seven Screen Studio. The film will have music by Anirudh Ravichander and cinematography by Sathyan Sooryan.

The film is slated for a grand release on October 19, 2023. The news of Meera’s death has shocked and saddened many celebrities and fans who have taken to social media to express their condolences and prayers for Vijay Antony and his family.
