Thalapathy Vijay’s fans are in for a double delight as the first single from his upcoming film Leo, titled Naa Ready, will be released on his 49th birthday on June 22. The makers of the film have unveiled a glimpse of the song today, which has already gone viral on social media.

Naa Ready is a peppy kuthu number that will showcase Vijay’s singing and dancing skills. The song is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, who has collaborated with Vijay for the third time after Kaththi and Master. The lyrics are penned by Vishnu Edavan. 

The promo of the song begins with a nostalgic line that says in Tamil, "This song is sung by your Vijay", which was used in the songs sung by Vijay in his earlier films like Rasigan and Deva. The song then kicks off with a catchy hook line “Naa Ready" followed by some energetic beats and vocals.

The visuals show Vijay in a stylish avatar, dancing with a group of dancers in a colourful set. The song promises to be a mass entertainer that will make the fans go crazy in theatres. Leo is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, who had earlier directed Vijay in Master.

The film also stars Sanjay Dutt, Trisha, Priya Anand, Arjun, Mansoor Ali Khan and others in pivotal roles. The film is produced by Lalith Kumar under his banner Seven Screen Studio. The film is speculated to be part of Lokesh Kanagaraj’s cinematic universe, which includes his previous films Vikram and Kaithi. The film is slated to hit the screens on October 19.
