Anurag Kashyap, the acclaimed filmmaker and actor, has revealed how he got a chance to act in Vijay’s latest blockbuster ‘Leo’. In a recent interview, he said that it was director who approached him after watching his interview where he expressed his desire to do a small death scene in a Tamil film.
“He called me and asked me, ‘Did you say it as a joke?’ I said, ‘No, not at all. I mean it.’ I just wanted to do a small death scene. So, he said, ‘We have a small death scene’, and called me for it,” Kashyap said.
He added that he had a great time on the sets of ‘Leo’, where he was treated with utmost respect and priority by the crew. “They were so nice. They finished everything in three hours. When I came in, they just focused on my shoot and I left. It was so nice,” he said.
‘Leo’ is a spy thriller directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and co-produced by S. S. Lalit Kumar of Seven Screen Studios and Jagadish Palanisamy. The film boasts of an ensemble cast that includes Vijay, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun, Trisha, Madonna Sebastian, Mysskin, Mansoor Ali Khan, George Maryan, Priya Anand, and Mathew Thomas.
The film has received rave reviews from critics and audiences alike for its gripping storyline, stunning visuals, and stellar performance of Vijay. Anirudh Ravichander’s music has added an extra edge to the film, while Manoj Paramahamsa’s cinematography and Philomin Raj’s editing have enhanced the overall quality of the film. ‘Leo’ is running successfully in theatres across the world and has emerged as one of the biggest hits of the year.
