The makers of Leo have been treating the fans with some exciting updates from time to time. The first single, ‘Naa Ready’, was launched on Vijay’s birthday on June 22, 2023, and became an instant hit among the listeners. The song, composed by Anirudh Ravichander, showcased Vijay’s savvy avatar and style in a catchy number.
Recently the team dropped a surprise glimpse video on the birthday of Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt, who plays a major role in the film. His character was revealed as Antony Das, a badass gangster who locks horns with Vijay’s Leo. The glimpse video has started breaking records on YouTube and has increased the expectations for the film.
Now, the producer of Leo, Lalit Kumar, has officially revealed that the next glimpse video from the film will be released on August 15, 2023. Going by the team’s past record, it is expected that the next glimpse video will feature another star actor who is part of the film’s ensemble cast.
Action King Arjun Sarja’s birthday falls on August 15th and he is likely to be featured in the next glimpse video. Arjun Sarja plays a pivotal role in the film and his character is said to be a surprise element in the story. Apart from Vijay, Trisha, Sanjay Dutt and Arjun Sarja, Leo also stars Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mansoor Ali Khan, Mysskin, Mathew Thomas, Priya Anand, Sandy Master, Babu Antony, Manobala and George Maryan in supporting roles.
The film is being made on a budget of ₹250–300 crore and is expected to be released in multiple languages including Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi. Leo is gearing up for a grand release on October 19, 2023. The film has completed its shooting in 126 days and is currently in the post-production stage.
