The much-awaited teaser of Keerthy Suresh’s upcoming film Raghu Thatha, produced by Hombale Films, was released on Friday. The film, written and directed by Suman Kumar, is a social entertainer that deals with the sensitive issue of Hindi imposition in Tamil Nadu in a humorous take.

The teaser introduces us to the protagonist Kayalvizhi, played by Keerthy Suresh, who is a passionate Tamil activist and a staunch opponent of Hindi. She is seen protesting against the mandatory Hindi exams and the discrimination faced by Tamil speakers in various fields with support from her father Raghu Thatha, played by M S Bhaskar.

The teaser promises a fun-filled ride with witty dialogues, hilarious situations, and quirky characters. The film also boasts of a talented ensemble cast, including Ravindra Vijay, Devadarshini, Rajeev Ravindranathan, Jayakumar, Anandsami, Rajesh Balachandiran, Ismath Banu, KS. Mippu, Mukesh, Janaki, Aadhira Pandilakshmi, Chu Khoy Sheng and others. The film is shot by Yamini Yagnamurthy, edited by T.S. Suresh, and has music by Sean Roldan.

Raghu Thatha is expected to hit the screens soon and is likely to entertain the audience with its unique blend of comedy and social commentary. The film is produced by Vijay Kiragandur under the banner of Hombale Films, which is known for delivering blockbuster hits like KGF and Salaar.
