Ajith Kumar has divulged his angry bravely at a function attended by then Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Karunanidhi. He appealed the Chief Minister not to let the cinema industry intervening in the sensitive issues and that appearance could be the last on-stage appearance for Ajith but it stills stays as one of the memories. Superstar Rajinikanth stood and applauded Ajith Kumar for what he bravely has spoken. The actor later met Karunanidhi and explicit about his speech. 

On the other hand, Karunanidhi's rival Jayalalithaa was affectionate towards Ajith Kumar. After the demise of the ADMK leader, rumors and speculations were rising on whether Ajith would join ADMK. In early 2019, there was a news which reported that the Ajith fans in Tiruppur had joined BJP and then BJP Tamil Nadu Chief Tamilisai Soundararajan had welcomed Ajith fans to the party. Being unspoken on politics, Actor Ajith had issued a statement the next day in which he asserted that he is not supporting any political party and his response lives even today.

He criticized the Tamil cinema industry when it conducted the cricket match and his life has been reiterating that he stands on what he says and what he does. He is not a graduate but he gradually attained this feat and success through his hard work and perseverance as the fans across and beyond the borders have been celebrating his new feat and with his devotion and persevarance to the art, the stardom feat would be decorating much more recognitions and welcoming much more years and love from his diehard fans. Thala has neared three decades in the cinema industry with having more decades and successes ahead.
