It's official! AK62 title revealed... Makers drop the hot update finally...

As the clock struck 12 on May 1, fans of Tamil superstar Ajith Kumar were in for a treat as the title of his upcoming film was revealed by the makers. The film, which was earlier referred to as AK 62, is now officially titled Vidaa Muyarchi, which means determination in Tamil. The film also has a tagline that says “Efforts never fail”.

Vidaa Muyarchi marks the first collaboration between Ajith and director Magizh Thirumeni, who is known for his cult films like Thadaiyara Thaakka and Thadam. The film is produced by Lyca Productions took to Twitter and announced the title on Twitter along with a poster featuring a fusion of maze puzzle, with hinting stormy ambience.

They wrote ,Wishing the man of Persistence, Passion and Hard work  Our dearest #AjithKumar sir a Happy B'day  It’s time for Celebration now...! Our next film with Mr. #AK is titled #VidaaMuyarchi  "EFFORTS NEVER FAIL" and will be directed by the cult film-maker #MagizhThirumeni

It was earlier reported that filmmaker Vignesh Shivan would helm the project. However, he opted out of it due to creative differences with the producers. He later wished Ajith on his birthday and expressed his happiness for Magizh Thirumeni getting the opportunity.

Vidaa Muyarchi will have music composed by Anirudh Ravichandran, who has previously worked with Ajith in Vedalam and Vivegam. The cinematography will be handled by Nirav Shah, who has also collaborated with Ajith in Billa, Nerkonda Parvai, Valimai and Thunivu. The rest of the cast and crew details are yet to be revealed.

Ajith, who turned 52 today, received warm wishes from his colleagues and friends from the industry. Actors from Manju Warrier to Vignesh Shivan and others took to social media to wish him a happy birthday. Ajith was last seen in Thunivu, which released in January this year. The film was directed by H Vinoth and produced by Boney Kapoor.
