Is IPAC's rival joining ADMK? Sources reveal what's going on...

While DMK has inducted Indian political strategist Prashant Kishor recently to formulate and strategize the policies for 2021 state legislative elections with the view of outsing the ADMK rule, the ruling ADMK party has been approached by the similar consulting firm to get roped into ADMK's camp for 2021 polls to pay counterattacks and to take down DMK.

The sources close to the development reveal that the firm is called 'Demos Project Private Limited' and it has been said to be Kishor's rival. The firm has recently approached the ADMK leaders to work for the party in the 2021 elections to contain the rise of DMK and the Demos project has greeted Edappadi Palaniswami who marked his fourth year as Chief Minister recently and this greeting holds the testament of how close it aims to get into the circle of ADMK.

The sources say that this particular greeting can be seen as the momentum of getting close to the party and they stated that the ADMK party has been discussing to sign an agreement with Demos Project to face the elections. When we asked some of the electoral strategists, they said this Demos project is filled with the pack of young minds who were previously working in Prashant Kishor's Indian Political Action Committee (IPAC). Before inducting Kishor, his aide Sunil was working for DMK during the recent large scale elections and Sunil was one of the reasons for the DMK's success in 2016 legislative elections and 2019 Lok Sabha Polls.

After DMK has signed Kishor in its team, Sunil quitted from the party and along with him, he brought about 15 people out of the IPAC and this Demos project was established for them and after DMK has announced the agreement with IPAC, the Demos project has approached ADMK. They had met with Edappadi Palaniswami to make a deal. However, the sources stated that he initially refused to rope in corporate politics.

When we inquired with the ADMK's IT Wing, they say that this Demos firm was established last November and it has young minds in its crew and the firm has no direct experience of working with national leaders and national parties and it is not equipped with strategists as equal to Prashant Kishor and they are skeptical that Demos had approached the ADMK as per Sunil's instruction with the motive of defeating DMK.

Before reaching out to DMK, Prashant Kishor first approached the ADMK government and he held talks with Chief Minister Edappadi Palaniswami in Delhi. EPS hasn't agreed with some of the conditions tabled by Kishor and Edappadi Palaniswami has stated that the party doesn't need the concept of this corporate politics. After a few months of being earthed, this issue has again exhumed and the sources say that Demos has neither met nor made an agreement with Edappadi Palaniswami on working with ADMK party in the 2021 legislative elections. The Demos firm has been disseminating pro-ADMK comments and statements in the social media with the motive of getting roped by the ADMK and the greeting for Edappadi Palaniswami on marking his fourth year as Chief Minister is one among such agendas.
