In the midst of the fervent wait of the fans to spectate Vijay's forthcoming movie 'Beast', the actor would script an impressive milestone upon the release as Beast will become Vijay's first pan India movie. Beast is all set to hit the theatres on April 13, one day prior to Tamil New Year. The ardent fans of the actor are eagerly waiting for the release, though the movie is going to clash with KGF Chapter 2.
While Beast will be getting released worldwide, it will be the first pan India movie for Vijay as it will be getting released in five languages- Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi. In the wee hours of Saturday- March 26, Sun Pictures, which bankrolls the movie, took to social media and released a new update and posters that Beast will be available in five major Indian languages, making it a pan-Indian movie.
According to reports, Beast's theatrical rights have been sold for huge prices in the southern states and overseas. Udhayanidhi Stalin's Red Giant Movies will be distributing Beast in Tamil Nadu while Thalapathy 66 producer Dil Raju will be distributing Beast in Telugu. While Dheeraj Enterprises won the rights the distribute the movie in Kannada, Ayngaran will be distributing the movie overseas.
Ahead of the release, the Beast movie team has unveiled the lyrical video of two songs that have been going super viral across and beyond the borders. The movie has stored a major expectation given the crew and the storyline. As the movie release is just three weeks ahead, the fans are all ears to hear the update about the movie's teaser, which is expected to get released on April 1.
On Tuesday - March 22, Sun Pictures, which has bankrolled Beast, has announced that the movie will hit the big screens on April 13, one day prior to the earlier predictions. Along with the release date, the fans have also got some crucial updates over the movie's censor and running time. On Monday - March 21, the CBFC has censored Beast with a U/A certificate and the movie's running time would be around 2 hours and 35 minutes.
Beast is helmed by Nelson Dilipkumar and while Vijay plays the lead role, Pooja Hegde, Selvaraghavan, Yogi Babu, Shine Tom Chacko, John Vijay, VTV Ganesh, and Aparna Das play important roles. Anirudh has composed the music and the movie is made on the budget of Rs 150 crores. Vijay was last seen in Master- directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and after Beast, he will be teaming up with Telugu director Vamsi Paidipally for his next project that has been tentatively named Thalapathy 66.
