Despite multiple detainments and verdicts, India still accounts for extreme violence against women and the horrific crimes of harassments have been reporting every day from somewhere across the country and the state of Tamil Nadu is not in the exceptional list to stay off from the scenes and adding to the line of sexual assault cases in the state, the Ramanathapuram district has reported with the harassment case that was committed against a mentally ill woman by the group of seven minors who were at the age of 16.
The reports say that a Dargah in Ervadi area of Ramanathapuram district has been the notable place to cure mental health problems where many people will be visiting the Dargah from across the nation by hoping for a remedy for their loved ones who have been suffering severe mental problems and who have been mentally ill. Most of the people will station here for over months until they get a cure and a family from Kerala was one among thousands. Begath, a native of Kerala has brought his 21-year-old mentally ill daughter for the treatments and our sources have said that they have been camped in the vicinity for the past two months to acquire continuous treatment to cure the mental health problems.
The reports have revealed that during the wee hours of yesterday when Begath accompanied his daughter, about 7 juveniles with age group of 16 have reportedly following them and after attacking the father, they allegedly shut his daughter's mouth and molested and abused her by taking her innocence as their advantage and they have collectively assaulted her in front of her father before they ran away from the spot.
By hearing her voice in the middle of the deep bushes, the surrounding people have noticed that the mentally ill woman has been brutally harassed by the group of local juveniles after which the official complaint was lodged at Ervadi police station and the police department has located the suspects and arrested all the seven minors following which they have been remanded.
