A Hindutva leader announces Rs 51 lakh for the head of Union Minister Narayan Rane!

A Hindutva leader has sparked controversy after he announced a reward of Rs 51 lakh for bringing him the head of Union Minister Narayan Rane, who recently got arrested by the Maharashtra state police for his remarks against Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray. Rane had become the third Union Minister in independent India to get arrested and the first Union Minister to face an arrest in twenty years. His remarks and arrest had drawn national attention and scripted a fresh tussle between the BJP and Maharashtra ruling Shiv Sena.

The cadres and loyalists in both the factions had protested against each other for the arrest with the workers of Shiv Sena had slapped Rane's poster with their slippers to show their outrage against him for making derogatory remarks against the Chief Minister. Earlier this week, Rane said that he would give a tight slap for Uddhav Thackeray under the grounds that the latter had forgotten the year of the Indian Independence. There were several FIRs filed against Rane in the state and he got arrested on Tuesday.

Nearly eight hours after getting arrested, Narayan Rane had got bail and came out of prison even as the BJP had flayed Uddhav Thackeray to use the police force for his political vendetta. Amid such shocking developments, a Hindutva leader has now announced a reward of Rs 51 lakh for bringing him the head of Narayan Rane. In a series of tweets, Vishwa Hindu Sena Chief Arun Pathak had announced the reward for anyone who brings him the head of Narayan Rane.

Pathak has said that it was late Shiv Sena chief Balasaheb Thackeray who made Rane a popular leader. Pathak went on to say that the Union Minister had made remarks against Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray for cheap publicity and added that he would not allow the ashes of Narayan Rane to be immersed in Varanasi. According to reports, Pathak's shocking tweet has come when he has been on the wanted list of the state police. He has been at large for the past three months as he is wanted in connection with a case registered in the Bhelupur police station.

It must be noted that recently, a BJP MLA in Maharashtra has announced that the party will write 75,000 letters to the Chief Minister to remind him of the year of Indian Independence. BJP MLA had on Wednesday claimed that the Chief Minister had on August 15 forgotten how many years has it been since India's Independence and the MLA has said that the BJP has decided to write 75,000 letters to Uddhav Thackeray so that he won't forget the year of Independence. Shelar further said that the party will write 75,000 letters under the leadership of state BJP Chief Chandrakant Patil and send them to the Chief Minister.
