For the first time since the release of what has become a phenomenal first single of the movie Beast, starred by Thalapathy Vijay,  actor and lyricist Sivakarthikeyan has revealed what Vijay said about his lyrics for the song 'Arabic Kuthu' which was the first single. Arabic Kuthu was released on February 14, on the occasion of Valentines' Day and within a month, the song has garnered stupendous reception with over 140 million views. 

The lyrics for Arabic Kuthu was penned by Sivakarthikeyan through which he marked his first collaboration with Vijay. Anirudh has composed the music and he had sung the song along with Jonita Gandhi. As the song has been going super-viral, Sivakarthikeyan has revealed how Vijay has felt about the first-of-its-kind Arabic song. Speaking at an awards function, Sivakarthikeyan said that the song was shot a long time back and initially, Vijay didn't give any feedback. 

Sivakarthiyen further said that he had thought that Vijay wasn't impressed by his lyrics. However, after seeing the promo video, Vijay had called Sivakarthikeyan and said that the lyrics were superb. Besides commending him, Vijay has also praised Sivakarthikeyan for his writing in Arabic. Sivakarthiyen then said that he told Vijay that Anirudh has put in half of the lyrics.

Vijay has expressed his hope that the song would become a huge hit. The promo of the song was going rampant for its fashion of setting a trend. In the promo video, Sivakarthikeyan, Anirudh, and Beast director Nelson Dilipkumar were seen wearing an Arabic dress. The promo also had a surprising element where Anirudh makes a phone call to Vijay and informs him that the first single is ready. 

Now, three weeks after the release, Sivakarthikeyan has said that Vijay has enjoyed the song and the lyrics. Beast is bankrolled by Kalanithi Maran under the banner of Sun Pictures and while Vijay plays the lead role, Pooja Hegde, Selvaraghavan, Yogi Babu, Shine Tom Chacko, John Vijay, VTV Ganesh, Aparna Das, and Sathish Krishnan play important roles. It has been speculated that Beast's audio launch will be held on March 20 while the movie is being slated to hit the big screens on April 14, 2022.
