The much-anticipated 62nd film of Tamil superstar Ajith Kumar, titled ‘Vidaa Muyarchi’, has finally goes on floors this week. The film, which was officially announced on May 1, on the occasion of the actor’s birthday, is directed by Magizh Thirumeni and produced by Lyca Productions.

According to the latest reports, the movie’s unit to kick-start the shooting formalities soon in an undisclosed location in Pune. The film is rumored to be an action thriller with Ajith playing a dual role. The Pune schedule is expected to last for a few weeks, after which the team will fly to Europe for the next leg of shooting.

Sources say that some crucial scenes and songs will be canned in exotic locations across Europe. The makers are planning to wrap up the entire shooting by October this year. Trisha Krishnan has been roped in as the female lead in ‘Vidaa Muyarchi’, marking her fifth collaboration with Ajith after ‘Ji’, ‘Kireedam’, ‘Mankatha’ and ‘Yennai Arindhaal’. 

Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music for the film. ‘Vidaa Muyarchi’, which means ‘perseverance’ in Tamil, has the tagline ‘Efforts Never Fail’. The film is slated to hit the screens during the Pongal festival next year. Ajith, who is known for his passion for biking, is likely to embark on a global bike tour in November after completing his work for the film.
