The rampant rise of the protests and the upheaval across the nation have certainly been black painting the image of Narendra Modi as the party has been heading towards tarnishing grounds after spurring the unrest through the party's Hindutva propaganda and through passing the biased Citizenship Act which grants the citizenship based on the religion.
Although the Central ruling party has repeatedly been justifying the passage of the Act, suppressing the protests and accusing the opposition parties over its restless stirs, the sources close to the BJP's Central leadership have revealed that the Act had directed a clash between Narendra Modi and Amit Shah recently. They have stated that Modi wishes to hold his baton of power through acquiring the support across the country but Amit Shah has been laying down the path straight opposite to Modi by proposing and tabling the Hindutva bills in the Parliament with the view of enacting into the law by having the huge majority in the lower house of the Parliament.
It was the same ideology that rooted Amit Shah to introduce the Citizenship Amendment Bill and as he wished, the bill has been enacted into the law but the protests that have been erupted after the passage is something that the duo never imagined to come through. The storm of protests has shacked the nation in all of its directions that had brought people of all ages including women and students to occupy the streets.
The sources had cited that the Citizenship Act had posed a direct threat to Modi and to his intention of watering his image as the only leader in the country by having the support of all the people and the protests didn't get restricted within India. It went beyond the borders and countries like Germany, Australia, the Arab Emirates have been voicing against Modi on passing the handicapped bill.
Recently, Modi's Malaysian counterpart Mahathir bin Mohamad has said that the bill passed by Secular India with the motive of scrapping citizenship of Muslims had sorrowed the community and warned that if Malaysia passes such bill, it would directly affect the Hindu people living in the country and adding to that, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe had canceled his Indian tour by citing the prevailing uproar in the country particularly in Assam, where the Japanese leader was scheduled to visit.
After having odd and aberrant voices from the International allies, the sources said that Narendra Modi had shown his anger against Amit Shah and Modi has been claiming that his government won't implement the National Register of Citizens (NRC) across the country despite Amit Shah has made repeated statements that the party would roll out the NRC in all the states. While addressing a rally in Delhi, Modi said that the Central government had implemented NRC in Assam with accord to the directive from the Supreme court and this was the statement that exposed the ongoing clashes between Modi and Amit Shah, assert the sources of Central BJP party.
