Thalapathy Vijay starring Beast is making its way at a good pace to hit the big screens early next year and in what has become a huge update, Vijay has ended his portion of shooting on Saturday - December 11 and the makers had announced the news by sharing a special hug between Vijay and director Nelson Dilipkumar. The development has come a day after actress Pooja Hegde finished her portion of shooting and hinted that the movie is going to be a classy entertainer. 

On Saturday, Sun Pictures took to Twitter and wrote, "Here's a special moment from Thalapathy Vijay's last day of shoot for Beast with director Nelson Dilipkumar." The production house has shared a picture in which the duo can be seen hugging each other to mark an emotional wrap. The photo has been getting spread rampantly across social media as the ardent Thalapathy fans celebrate the moment and express their desire and wait to watch the movie on the big screens. 

On Friday, actress Pooja Hegde, who is playing the female lead in the movie, has given a big update that her portion of shooting has been wrapped. She also had expressed that she was very sad that today was her last day. Sun Pictures has on Friday released a video message from Pooja Hegde in which it has written, "It's a wrap for @hedgepooja! Hear what she has to say about shooting for Beast with Thalapathy @actorvijay and director @Nelsondilipkumar." The special message from the actress has been going viral ever since it was shared. 

In her message, she can be heard saying, "It's been great working for Beast and an absolute pleasure to be on the set. We have laughed so much making the film and I hope you laugh as well. It's going to be a typical Nelson-style and Vijay sir-style entertainer. It's been great to be on the set because everyone was just lively. It was like a vacation while shooting for the film. Sadly, today is my last day for Beast. It's a shoot wrap for my portion. So, see you in the theatres." 

It must be noted that a few days ago, director Nelson Dilipkumar had shared a special photo from the Beast shooting spot as they completed 100 days of shooting and the photo took social media into the storm. Produced by Kalanithi Maran under his own banner of Sun Pictures, Beast is directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and the movie brings in an ensemble cast. While Vijay plays the lead role, Pooja Hegde, Selvaraghavan, Shine Tom Chacko, Yogi Babu, John Vijay, and VTV Ganesh has played important roles. Anirudh has composed the music and the movie is expected to hit the theatres in summer 2022.
