Is this captain Vijayakanth? Fans express pain over the latest heartbreaking pic of the veteran actor!

Vijayakanth has been a man of the masses and amid his dusking politics, his life and love from the fans have never been shaded away. It will perennially live in their hearts and whenever Vijaykanth suffer setbacks and health complications, it will pain these hearts. Sadly, there has now been another painful moment for them after seeing the latest picture of their captain. The picture has sparked a question on what happened to the actor-turned-politician. 

Though his political run has been controversial, Vijayakanth is known for his impeccable contribution to society and to the cinema industry. Through his unparalleled service, the actor has touched millions of lives. 69-year-old Vijayakanth has set a track in acting and in the upliftment of the weaker section of the cinema industry. His decade-long politics has taken shocking and suffering turns, so were his health condition. The veteran actor has been battling ill health for several years. 

It's been several months since he actively took part in the movie making and in the political rally. While he had been travelling overseas for his medical treatments, his health setbacks had saddened his fans and fraternities. His political power in his party DMDK has completely fallen on his wife Premalatha Vijayakanth and the people had yearned to see the veteran actor's comeback. 

Vijaykanth has also suffered from the Covid-19 viral infection and he didn't hit any of the political rallies that were held recently in Tamil Nadu. After several months, his latest picture had hit social media only to shock the fans. The veteran actor can be seen in a shrinking face with a weight loss. The picture has been going viral on social media and several fans said that they can't believe that the actor has been pushed to such a state due to health complications. 

Echoing that Vijayakanth will always be their captain, several fans had posted the actor's old picture with the latest one to draw a comparison. One Twitter user wrote, "I have celebrated you (Vijayakanth) as a fan. My heart is paining to see you in such a state."  Another user wrote, "Once a king always a king." Another wrote, "Painful to see captain Vijayakanth like this." They had expressed their prayers for the actor to recover from his health complications. 

On the other hand, there is also a relishing piece of news about Vijayakanth's comeback on big screens. According to reports, Vijayakanth will most likely make a comeback through the movie 'Mazhai Pidikatha Manithan' starring Vijay Antony. The movie is being helmed by Vijay Milton and he has said that he had spoken to Vijayakanth and his family requesting the veteran actor to play a powerful character in the movie. It has been reported that if Vijayakanth has no major health complications, he will take part in the shooting during the next schedule.
