Is the buzz around Thalapathy68 title is true? Here's what the producer has to say

As the year 2023 comes to an end, the Tamil cinema industry is buzzing with excitement and anticipation for one of the biggest films of the next year, Thalapathy 68. The film marks the first collaboration between Vijay and director Venkat Prabhu, who is known for his quirky and innovative films.

The film has been shrouded in mystery ever since it was announced, with the makers keeping the title and the genre under wraps. The fans have been speculating and guessing the possible names and themes of the film, based on the clues and hints dropped by the team. Some of the popular guesses include Boss, Puzzle, and a few others.

However, the producer of the film, Archana Kalpathi, has recently put an end to these rumours, by taking to X, and shared a note which reads, "Just saw all the updates. Thank you for the love Keep calm and wait for the real one very soon @vp_offl is cooking something special. It is definitely not Boss or Puzzle Happy Morning everyone #Thalapathy68".

The film’s first look poster will also be unveiled on December 31, 2023, as a New Year’s Eve treat for the fans. The poster is expected to give a glimpse of the film’s genre and the look of Vijay, who is reportedly playing dual roles in the film. The film is said to be a complete action thriller, with a lot of twists and turns.

The film boasts of a stellar star cast, which includes Prashanth, Prabhudeva, Mohan, Jayaram, Ajmal Amir, Sneha, Laila, Yogi Babu and VTV Ganesh in important roles. The music will be composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, who has teamed up with Venkat Prabhu for the seventh time. The cinematography will be handled by Siddharth Nuni, while the editing will be done by Venkat Raajen. Dileep Subbarrayan will choreograph the stunts.

Thalapathy 68 is one of the most awaited films of 2024, and the fans are eagerly waiting for the title and the first look poster to be revealed. The film is expected to hit the screens in the summer of 2024, and create a new record at the box office.
