Big Beast update: Second single sung by Thalapathy Vijay will be released on...Any guesses?

In the midst of the wave of fans seeking updates from Vijay's upcoming movie 'Beast', Sun Pictures, which bankrolls the movie, has on Wednesday - March 16 unveiled a big update that the second single of the movie is all set to get released. The second update will be released a month after the first one 'Arabic Kuthu', which was released on February 14 on the occasion of Valentine's Day. 

On Wednesday, Sun Pictures announced that the second single of Beast will be released on March 19. The makers had also shared a third-second teaser for the second single. The song has been titled 'Jolly O Gymkhana' and interestingly, the song is sung by Thalapathy Vijay himself. The lyrics of the song is penned by Ku Karthik while Anirudh has composed the music. 

The teaser shows Vijay, Anirudh, director Nelson, and Pooja Hegde and has swiftly gotten attention from the fans who were desperate to have an update. Sun Pictures wrote, "Jolly ah irunga Nanba (sic). Beast second single - Jolly O Gymkhana sung by Thalapathy Vijay is releasing on March 19th!." The update was shared at 7 pm on Wednesday and within an hour of release, it has earned a huge reception from across and beyond the borders. 

The first single of Beast 'Arabic Kuthu' is doing wonders in the digital world. Unlike any other song in the history of the Tamil cinema and probably for the Indian cinema, Arabic Kuthu has garnered over 182 million views in a month and now, the second single has drawn huge expectations as Vijay has sung the song for the first time after Bigil. 

On the other hand, the fans are bracing up the shocking news that there would be no audio launch for Beast. Beast has been slated to get released in April 2022, probably on April 14. Some reports suggest that it may get released on April 13 to avoid the clash with KGF 2 and to have a good first day opening at the box office. 

It has also been reported that on the night of the first day of Beast, Sun TV would be telecasting an exclusive interview with Vijay and the team. Beast is bankrolled by Kalanithi Maran under his own banner of Sun Pictures and is directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. While Vijay plays the lead role, Pooja Hegde, Selvaraghavan, Yogi Babu, Shine Tom Chacko, John Vijay, VTV Ganesh, Aparna Das, and Sathish Krishnan play important roles. Anirudh has composed the music.
