Arabic Kuthu is in digital deluge: The first single of Vijay's Beast creates a big history within a day!

It's not even a day since the first single of Thalapathy Vijay's 'Beast' was released and the song 'Arabic Kuthu' is in a digital deluge as millions of fans have been awarding a massive reception for what they had been eagerly awaiting. At 6 pm on Monday, the maker of Beast, Sun Pictures has unveiled the first single and within some time, it has become a trendsetter across and beyond the borders. 

The song was released on the occasion of Valentine's Day and the massive reach within minutes have shown how the fans were waiting for the first single and the movie team got to be credited for keeping the pulse alive. Sun Pictures, which produces Beast, has run a countdown on Monday ahead of the release and after releasing the first single on social media, the popular production house wrote, "#ArabicKuthu- #BeastFirstSingle is out now."

The reach was in a mind-blowing scale as the fans were eagerly waiting to relish the song, which would be the first song for Vijay on many fronts - the first song in which he paired with Pooja Hegde and the first song where Vijay lipsynced the lyrics penned by actor Sivakarthikeyan. "Halamathi Habibo" has probably become the most spoken term by the Vijay fans for the past week. While Sivakarthikeyan has written the lyrics, the music is composed by Anirudh while he and Jonita Gandhi had sung the song.

It would have been the first time where some of Vijay's alluring dance performances were revealed in the first single, which has become one of the reasons why the song is flooded with a swamp of reach. Arabic Kuthu has garnered over 20 million views within a day and on Tuesday, Sun Pictures wrote, "Tremendous love for #ArabicKuthu. It's 20M views in real-time now!." With an immense reach, it has also created a history by becoming the most viewed first single in the Tamil cinema industry. 

Arabic Kuthu has also surpassed the reach of the song 'Kalaavathi' from the movie Sarkaru Vaari Paata starred by Tollywood star Mahesh Babu and Keerthy Suresh. Kalaavathi has become the most viewed song in recent times by garnering 16 million views in 24 hours. However, it has now been surpassed by Arabic Kuthu with over 20 million views within a day. 

Reacting to the release of the song, Beast director Nelson Dilipkumar said, "#ArabicKuthu here it is...thank you Siva Karthikeyan for the cool and jolly lyrics...Rockstar Anirudh superb stuff...Super cool Pooja Hedge...Dashing thalapathy Actor Vijay sir." Anirudh wrote on Twitter, "#ArabicKuthu is all yours." Pooja Hegde has also shared the first single on her social media handle as the entire team and fans enjoy the incredible reception from across and beyond the borders. 

Beast is bankrolled by Kalanithi Maran under his own banner Sun Pictures and it is helmed by Nelson Dilipkumar. While Vijay plays the lead role, Pooja Hegde, Selvaraghavan, Yogi Babu, Shine Tom Chacko, Jonh Vijay, VTV Ganesh, Aparna Das, and Sathish Krishnan play important roles. Beast has been slated to release in the theatres on 14th April 2022.
