What has become the talk of the town in the Tamil cinema industry for the past few days is the special bonding between Kamal Haasan and Lokesh Kanagaraj and a special gesture by the Ulaga Nayagan in greeting the young director.

As the movie, Vikram, helmed by Lokesh and starred by Kamal, has been a blockbuster hit, the legendary actor has been giving surprise gifts and compliments to Lokesh. On Monday, Lokesh Kanagaraj has shared a surprise hand-written letter from Kamal Haasan to him on social media and now, Kamal Haasan has taken the director into another surprise by gifting him a luxurious car.

According to reports, Kamal Haasan has gifted a Lexus car to director Lokesh Kanagaraj and the picture of the ceremony has been going viral. The actor has been a fan of Lexus and he has been using this brand. He has now gifted the same brand to Lokesh, which has become the latest evidence of their special bonding. Earlier on Monday, Lokesh Kanagaraj took to Twitter and shared the letter from Kamal Haasan and wrote, "Life time settlement letter, words can't express how emotional I'm feeling reading this! Nandri Andaveray Kamal Haasan." 

Kamal Haasan's letter has been going viral and expressed how dear he is to Lokesh Kanagaraj. Wishes have been pouring in for Lokesh Kanagaraj for his spectacular directorial. Vikram was released on June 3 and hours ahead of the movie's release, Lokesh Kanagaraj has penned an emotional letter in which he had thanked Kamal Haasan and said that Vikram is a gift to the actor from a fan boy. 

In his letter, Lokesh Kanagaraj has said, "This is the most emotional I've ever felt before the release of my film. As I can remember, ever since I was a kid, I loved Ulaganayagan the most. This is a surreal experience for me, that I am directing a film in his honour. I thank all the kind souls who made this possible. It has been 18 months since I started working on Vikram." Kamal Haasan is back on the big screens after four years. His last movie was Vishwaroopam 2. While Lokesh Kanagaraj has helmed the movie, it is bankrolled by Kamal Haasan under his own banner Raaj Kamal Films International. 

While Kamal Haasan plays the lead role, Vijay Sethupathi, Fahadh Faasil, Arjun Das, Narain, Harish Uthaman, Kalidas Jayaram, Antony Varghese, Shivani Narayanan, and Ramesh Thilak had played important roles. Actor Suriya has won hearts through his cameo appearance. Anirudh has composed the music and the movie has been made on the budget of Rs 80 crore.
