AK62 Update: Vignesh Sivan's exits from AK 62..Is this the reason behind the shocking call off? Here's what we know!

Despite the fact that the February shooting schedule for AK62 was announced the day before, the shocking rumour first started on social media that Vignesh Shivan walked out of the project. However, according to the most recent information, Vignesh Shivan will no longer be directing Ajith's upcoming project, AK 62.

No one is aware of the exact reasons as to why there has been a change in director. It was anticipated that Aishwarya Rai is going to act opposite Ajith, where Arvindsamy and Santhanam are going to play the lead roles in AK62.But news broke that the collaboration didn't take off. There were rumours that Ajith was unhappy with the script that Vignesh Shivan provided and had asked for revisions.

According to reports, Ajith and Lyca Productions decided to end their partnership because director Vignesh Sivan had not yet given the story its final form even giivng upon long time. Reports are rife  Magizh Thirumeni, who has directed films such as Thadam, Thadaiyara Thaakka, Meagaman, and Kalaga Thalaivan, is going to direct Ajith's AK 62.

Interestingly, in 2019, there were rumours that the director will helm Vijay. Vijay has met with Maghizh Thirumeni. Although Vijay had previously given his approval to the story, the film's production never went forward for reasons that are still unclear. In this case, fans are discussing the possibility that Vijay -Thirumeni's entire mass story is actually an AK 62 movie.

According to the sources, Anirudh remains the frontrunner for the role of composer on this work in progress.The latest speculation also has that the AK63 will be helmed by Vignesh Shivan possibly or Vishnuvardhan of Billa and Aarambham fame or Siruthai Shiva of Veeram and Viswaasam fame.AK 62 is expected to hit the screens as a Deepavali release. And there will be possible clash with Thalapathy 67 in the same fashion went for Thunivu and Varisu.
