Superstar actor and political freshman Rajinikanth has been preparing in full swing for launching his political party ahead of the upcoming assembly polls. The 70-year-old actor has recently brought the suspense to an end after announcing that he would be launching his political party by January 2021 and he would be making an official announcement concerning his political plunge on December 31, 2020, three years after asserting that he would enter politics.
Days before his official announcement, Rajinikanth has now issued a warning to the members of his outfits. According to our sources, Rajinikanth's Rajini Makkal Mandram, which would be the prefix of his political party, has issued a stern warning to the district secretaries of his outfit that they would be removed from the party if they found to be indulging in the money-related activities.
Rajini Makkal Mandram had warned the district secretaries not to receive money from the members for appointing them in the district level posts. The outfit has ordered the secretaries to disclose the list of the booth committee members to the party's leadership by December 25 and it has warned the district secretaries that they would be removed from the party if they found to have been receiving money from the members.
By reiterating that the party will be formed to fight and alleviate corruption, the leadership has further instructed the secretaries and members not to involve in any measures of cash-related activities and Rajini Makkal Mandram has also advised the district secretaries to uphold diversity by appointing the members to the posts regardless of their caste and religion. The warning and instructions from the outfit have come at a high time when, the reports say, that Rajinikanth is giving the final touch to his party.
Rajinikanth has asserted that he will be contesting in the upcoming assembly polls and he also appointed former Tamil Nadu BJP leader Arjuna Murthy and Tamilaruvi Manian to the top posts of the party. The superstar said that it's time to change the fate of Tamil Nadu and he appealed to the people to stand by him for what he called spiritual politics, the unprecedented proposal of politics on the grounds of Dravidian strongholds.
Recently, Rajinikanth was surfaced with heated speculations on his party's name and symbol with the reports saying that he had decided to adopt a little-known party and named his party as 'Makkal Sevai Katchi'. The reports highlighted that the outfit had moved its petition to the Election Commission of India to register its party and the Chief Electoral body has given the 'autorickshaw' symbol to his party.
However, following the speculations, Rajini Makkal Mandram has issued an official statement in which it had asked the party members to wait till the leadership announces the official confirmation on the party's name and symbol. Though Rajinikanth had proposed spiritual politics, his political entry would prompt a series of questions on the alliance front. While BJP and ADMK were said to be mulling to ally with the political freshman ahead of the polls, Rajinikanth has also been chalking out the plan to join hands with Kamal Haasan to form a third front in the state.
