An eatery in Pune is the talk of the nation as it has drawn national attention for it's unique and stunning food contest in its bid to attract more customers and when the contest was circulated across social media, hundreds of thousands of people have been marching towards the hotel to win the contest. 

Shivraj Hotel in Wadgaon Maval area in the outskirts of Pune had announced the contest to attract more customers. What's the contest? If you finish eating a huge bullet Thali within 60 minutes, you can win a Royal Enfield bike worth Rs 1.65 lakh. All you have to do is to complete the variety of non-veg dishes of the Thali. Each Thali is priced at Rs 2,500 and if you successfully accomplish the contest, you will be going with a Royal Enfield Bullet. 

The Bullet Thali comprises around 12 different types of dishes. The non-vegetarian thali is prepared with four kilograms of mutton and fried fish. The dishes include fried surmai, pomfret fried fish, chicken tandoori, dry mutton, grey mutton, chicken masala, and prawn biryani. The huge thali will be prepared by 55 people at the same time and people need to get the thali and finish eating all the items within one hour to win the contest of grabbing the Royal Enfield Bullet. 

According to a news agency, Atul Waikar, who is the owner of Shivraj Hotel had shared how he came up with the idea of announcing the unique contest with the view of inviting more customers to his hotel. Waikar has parked five brand new Royal Enfield Bullets in front of his hotel. Along with that, the banners of the eatery and the menu instructions to give more details of the contest. He said that the response towards the Bullet Thali was great and several people have been visiting his eatery to try the thali and also participate in the unique contest. 

He stated that the hotel is ensuring that the people follow the social distancing norms and the reports say that Shivraj Hotel is selling 65 Thalis every day. The hotel was inaugurated eight years ago and it has been gaining more attention across and beyond the borders for its unique contests. The hotel offers six types of giant thalis, namely Special Ravan Thali, Bullet Thali, Malvani Fish Thali, Pahelwan Mutton Thali, Bakasur Chicken Thali, and Sarkar Mutton Thali.

Earlier, Waikar had announced a contest in which four people must finish the giant Ravan Thali, together, weighing eight kilograms in 60 minutes. The winner of that contest was awarded prize money of Rs 5000 and was also released from the obligation of paying for the thali. The reports say that resident of Solapur district Somnath Pawar had managed to finish the whole Bullet Thali in less than one-hour following which Pawar was awarded the Royal Enfield Bullet.
