Yash is arriving back to rock star the big screens... KGF Chapter 2 gets the release date!

Rock star Yash is going to arrive in style as the much-anticipated KGF: Chapter 2 has finally got the release date, which had relished the fans and stirred expectations from the audiences. The movie will be released on July 16, 2021, worldwide, and the announcement of the movie release has brought the speculations to an end and getting shared by the fans across social media. 

KGF Chapter 2 is the sequence of the first part that was released in 2018. KGF Chapter 1 was a real blockbuster that had put Yash into global fame. KGF series has been directed by Prashanth Neel and on  Friday, Neel took to Twitter and revealed the news and wrote, "KGF Chapter 2 Worldwide release on July 16th, 2021". The official news of the release had rejoiced the fans as the movie has displayed how it has been expected by the fans after the overwhelming reach of its teaser across and beyond the borders. 

Within three weeks into the release of the teaser, KGF Chapter 2 has created history by becoming the most viewed movie teaser on Youtube in India. By the time of writing this content, KGF Chapter 2 has gardened over 163 million views, which had perfectly captured how the movie has impacted and created agog among the fans and audiences. Showered with lots of love and support, Yash has been fondly called the rock star. 

KGF Chapter 1 was the film about Rocky, who becomes a gangster from a poor family. The first part revolves around fulfilling the desire of his mother in becoming a wealthy man. When he shows no mercy to his enemies, he enters Kolar Gold Fields where he was pained to see the plight and troubles embraced by the laborers working in the goldfield. The movie had amassed a pile of wealth and popularity across the borders which put Yash into the spotlight. 

While the first part was the blockbuster hit, its sequel has no way less than how the first part was received and in fact, the teaser of KGF Chapter 2 had poured with rains of views, gaining more attention and anticipation from the fans and audiences. Being the most expensive Kannada with a budget of around Rs 100 crore, KGF Chapter 2 was initially scheduled to hit the big screens on October 23, 2020. But the release has got postponed due to the COVID-19 viral infection.

It has now been confirmed that the movie will be released on July 16, 2021. The film is scheduled to release in Kannada and would be dubbed in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi. KGF Chapter 1 was the first Kannada film to rake in Rs 200 crore at the box-office, and the movie was produced by Hombale Films. KGF Chapter 2 has also roped in Sanjay Dutt, Srinidhi Shetty, and Raveena Tandon. While Ravi Basrur has composed the music for KGF Chapter 2, Bhuvan Gowda and Srikanth Gowda have been roped in for cinematography and editing respectively. The movie has also inducted Prakash Raj, Eswari Rao, Anant Nag, and Nagabharana in important roles.
