The opening show of the Sivakarthikeyan-starring movie "Prince" will take place on October 21. The actor was already at the top of the trending Kollywood talk among netizens with his most recent Twitter fan chat session. Now, his speech at the pre-release event in Hyderabad caused a sensation among movie fans. 

He reportedly stated that he would like to work with the famous actor Vijay Devarakonda. He also praised Vijay Devarakonda as one of the contemporary Indian film industry's smartest leading men. After having met the actor in person, he added that he is incredibly nice and outgoing and remarked that Vijay Devarakonda has the appearance of a "Prince" and that his journey has been motivational and wished the actor luck with his upcoming movie, "Kushi."

On October 19, the pre-launch event for the film took place in Hyderabad. The team of Prince, actors Sivakarthikeyan, Maria Ryaboshapka, music composer Thaman, and director Anudeep took part, and actor Vijay Devarakonda attended as the chief guest. Speaking at the event, Sivakarthikeyan reportedly said he wanted to work with Vijay Devarakonda and added that the movie should have multiple stars. 

While addressing the event, Vijay Devarakonda said, "Anudeep, Sathyaraj garu, Sivakarthiyan anna and Maria all of them together did a promotional video. It’s almost 8 or 10 minutes long. I watched the full video and enjoyed it. " The Liger star also revealed that his admiration for Sivakarthikeyan grew only stronger when he saw him burst into tears some years ago on stage. 

"One day, I saw him on a stage breaking into tears. I felt bad looking at that. I could understand his pain and journey. For some reason, I started considering him as a brother since. I thought if I ever get a chance to support him or do something for him, I should do it. That’s why I’m here," he added.

Earlier, while releasing the trailer of Prince on social media, Vijay Devarakonda wrote, "Big admirer and fan of @Siva_Kartikeyan Anna's journey and work, wishing him, @anudeepfilm and the team of #Prince all the very best for the Grand Diwali release on Oct 21st! Very happy to launch #PrinceTrailer in Telugu." Prince is bankrolled by D Suresh Babu Narayan Das K Narang, and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao through Suresh Productions Pvt, Sree Venkateshwara Cinemas LLP, and Shanthi Talkies. 

The cinematography is done by Manoj Paramahamsa, Praveen KL served as the editor and Thaman composed the music. Starring Sivakarthikeyan and Maria Ryaboshapka who are playing the lead, while Sathyaraj, Anandraj and Premji Amaren play supporting roles. The movie has been slated for a theatrical release on October 21.
