Days after apparently announcing her separation from Akkineni Naga Chaitanya, Samantha gets ready for a legal battle against a slew of YouTube channels for making vicious content against her. Samantha, who is one of the popular actresses of South India, has separated from her husband Naga Chaitanya recently after episodes of speculations that stormed social media over their separation. 

As she has caught into rumours over her personal life, she was the talk on social media with several users putting their remarks about the couple's separation. Several YouTube channels had also published vicious content against her and as the sequel of these videos and content, Samantha has filed defamation cases against some YouTube channels and she also had sent a legal notice against a retired doctor, who had expressed awful speculation over why the couple had got separated. 

According to reports, Samantha had filed defamation cases against Suman TV, Telugu Popular TV, and a few more YouTube channels and they had received legal notices from the actor for airing derogatory remarks and defaming her image on their respective channels. Samantha had on October 2 announced her separation from Naga Chaitanya. Taking to Instagram, she issued a statement in which she said, "After much deliberation and thought, Chay and I have decided to part ways as husband and wife to pursue our own paths." 

"We are fortunate to have a friendship of over a decade that was the very core of our relationship which we believe will always hold a special bond between us. We request our fans, well-wishers, and the media to support us during this difficult time and give us the privacy we need to move on. Thanking you for your support", she added. However, her announcement of separation had stirred negative comments and rumours against her with several social media users scripting appalling comments and speculations over this divorce.

After being surfaced with such shocking speculations, Samantha had on October 8 issued a statement in which she had requested everyone not to interfere in her personal crisis. She said, "Your emotional investment into a personal crisis has overwhelmed me. Thank you all for showing deep empathy, concern, and for defending me against false rumours and stories that are being spread. They say I had affairs, never wanted children, that I am an opportunist and now that I have had abortions." 

"A divorce in itself is an extremely painful process. Let alone allowing me the time to heal. This attack on me personally, has been relentless. But I promise you this, I will never allow this or anything else they say, break me", she added. However, there had been some YouTube channels that published content about Samantha's divorce with alleged ingredients to malign her due to which she had now filed defamation cases against them and sent notices to them. 

According to reports, Samantha has been busy with two bilingual projects currently. Producer SR Prabhu has on October 15 announced that Samantha has signed a new movie with debutant director Shantharuban. Prabhu will be producing, under his banner of Dream Warrior Pictures, what is still yet to be named. Samantha will be acting in another bilingual movie (Telugu and Tamil) which will be produced by Sivalenka Krishna Prasad under the banner of Sridevi Movies and directed by duo Hari and Harish.
